PRODUCT TIP
When selecting a RedDOT HVAC system, ensure that the published BTU performance characteristics are in balance.
A good rule of thumb is that the condenser should have a BTU performance rating at least 30% higher than the BTU
rating of the evaporator assembly. Having a balanced HVAC system ensures peak performance and reliability.

TECH TIP
A receiver drier obtains and stores refrigerant from the condenser, passing it along to the expansion valve to
generate cooling. The receiver drier also keeps the system dry, using desiccant to absorb any condensation in the
system. When servicing your A/C, change the receiver drier to ensure the system stays clean and dry so it can
continue to function properly.
